About Us

Ninka Studio is a small, independent fashion label based in Meishan, Sichuan, and operated by Sichuan Mengyu E-commerce Co., Ltd. Our story begins in a modest building on Jinsong Avenue in Songjiang Town—where the factory floor sits below and the design studio lives above. Every morning, before we open our laptops, we walk through production, run our hands over the day's fabrics, and talk through details with our pattern makers. It's a ritual we've kept for years, and it's how we stay grounded in what we do.

We design for real life—not runways. Clothes that move through your day without demanding attention: coffee spills, office hours, grocery runs, dinner with friends. They don't shout. They just work.

Our collections are built around three lines, each with a different character:

• Skirts — Effortless, with soft pleats, fluid drapes, and clean A-line cuts. Nothing too tight or too precious. They hold their shape wash after wash and look as right with sneakers as they do with loafers.

• Shorts — Structured yet relaxed, with comfortable waistbands, functional pockets, and crisp cotton blends. Tailored or drawstring, each pair sits at the natural waist and hits a length that feels balanced, never risky.

• Dresses — From button-up shirt dresses you can throw on in seconds to slip-on styles that require zero thought. We obsess over armholes, necklines, and back seams—because those are the make-or-break points, and ours never break.

We produce in small batches, using natural fibers and deadstock fabrics whenever we can. We don't chase seasonal calendars or fast-fashion cycles. When a piece sells out, it's gone. If we bring it back, it's only because we've made it better.

We are a core team of six, alongside a long-standing group of pattern makers, sample sewers, and photographers who have been with us from the very beginning. Every design and production decision is made in-house—nothing is outsourced. Our workshop is just downstairs, and we visit it every single day.

Ninka Studio isn't here to reinvent fashion. It's here to offer a quieter alternative—clothes that are thoughtfully designed, well made, and fairly priced.
