The effects can be very subtle, simply pulling the image together, or boldly creating a more artistic look.

Textures can serve as a backdrop for your portraits, still life or flower photography and add interest and style to your images.

A texture can be used as a subtle background instead of just a colored backdrop or can be weaved together with the subject and become just as important as the photograph itself.
